 For
the " 50 Minutes at Durbuy " made in January
2016, the expected snowfall did not take place; Belgium weather is known
to be changeable. For lack of a white carpet, or a red one for
that matter, photo-model and photographer toured the narrow
alleys of Durbuy, all the while facing the bitter cold and
moist breeze, and made a 50 minutes' photoshoot. Not that
they had a stopwatch though; around the 50th minute they took
heated refuge in a bistro. On that
Monday noon, and carrying along the trunk-and-cart nicknamed the
pharao, they really were the only ones to be seen on the
streets of the medieval city. One day they will return: the Belmal atelier, and a major
portion of the museum-collection of antique trunks is
at about 10 kilometres from Durbuy. Of the ancient walls, shiny
pavement, oak-beam and rockstone houses, and the d'Ursel castle,....
